1200m – Turf
1 | Exdream | Won three races in Australia before turning in a handy debut with a 4th place finish, when he raced handy and weakened out late. Will strip fitter at second run in Singapore. |
2 | Baffert | Had every chance but outclassed behind Sweet Angeline when checking in 10th. Has previously won when 2nd up from a break and can improve. |
3 | First Chief | Former Hong Kong galloper who showed improvement at his second Singapore start when finishing 2nd. Given a quiet trial recently and looks well for his return. |
4 | Asaad | Former Argentinean galloper who showed little at his Singapore debut with an 8th place finish. May need a much longer race than 1200m of this race. |
5 | Mighty General | Backs up quickly after being a certainty beaten here last Saturday when he was held up virtually the entire home straight before gaining a late split and charging home for 2nd place. If he handles the quick back up then he will be in the money. |
6 | Longhu | Old timer who has not won for 471 days. Has been unplaced in 10 turf starts and all of his form has been on the all weather tracks. Not suited here. |
7 | Hyde Park | Winner two starts ago in Class 5 who rose back to Class 4 and failed when he was caught wide but gave little in the straight. |
8 | My Boss | Showed speed and held on well last start when 4th in a fast run race. Place chance. |
9 | Superlative | Scored a win at long odds two starts ago before failing at Class 4 level. Recent trials have been just fair and place chances appear best. |
10 | Bright Sun | Failed at all six Singapore starts and no excuses last start when weakening behind Vulcan. Needs Class 5 level to feature. |
11 | Knight Love | Impressive debut winner who had his colours lowered behind unbeaten filly Sweet Angeline. Will find this much easier and should be on speed and hard to beat with a light weight. |
12 | Sun Step | Yet to win in eight Singapore starts and showed speed before finding the 1100m too far last start. Better suited over a shorter trip. |
13 | Triple Bowl | Winner in Malaysia who was well beaten at his Singapore debut. Hard to recommend. |
14 | Ol Mate Buzzer | Settled back and caught the eye flashing home late for 5th place. Looked good with a recent trial win and appears ready to run a good race. |

15 | Clarton Treasure | Has not won for 784 days and never looked likely last start when 9th behind Golden Flame. Not here. |
