1400m – Turf
1 | Foresto | Resumes off a 162-day break and has trialled on three occasions in preparation for his first-up assignment. Goes well in Class 4 but would need to see market support. |
2 | Gold City | Drops back into Class 4 after a closing effort into third in a Class 3 mile race 142 days ago. Definitely capable in a race of this nature and respect. |
3 | Lord Of Cloud | Races first-up for a new trainer here, so an improved effort isn’t out of the question, and he was pushed out to win a recent trial. Keep safe as more than capable on best form. |
4 | Afalonhro | Quality five-year-old who races second-up after a get back, run on first-up effort into fifth. Enters this race with good form and is one of the key chances. |
5 | Thunder | Raced wide throughout first-up over an unsuitable 1200m, weakening to 11th. Will be better off over 1400m and on prior form, looks capable of surprising. |
6 | Yulong Jazz | Former Irish galloper who arrives in Singapore a one-time winner from eight. May need the run and the market will be telling. |
7 | Kharisma | Talented four-year-old who races second-up after a facile first-up win 21 days ago. Rises to Class 4, which should prove more competitive, but he appears to have more up his sleeve and is a top winning chance. |
8 | Qiji Diamond | Had betting support first-up over 1200m but the rider’s saddle slipped. Open to improvement and looks a chance in a race like this. |

Sun Formation

Can generally be slow out of the stalls, which sees him settle well-back in-running. Resumes after a win over this distance in Class 5 154 days ago and this looks tougher. |
10 | Diamond Mine | Scored his second career win when first-up over 1200m 21 days ago. Albeit it in Class 5, he is only a four-year-old and could still have more to come. Light-weight chance. |
11 | Born To Win | Returns to a preferred track and distance where his better form lies and he did not disgrace himself first-up, getting well back in the run but closing off the second fastest in the race into seventh. Outsider chance. |
12 | Bebop | Hard to make a case for in this type of race and chances look better once dropping to Class 5. |
13 | Golden Thunder | Flew home into third over 1000m 36 days ago, but was unwanted in the market that day. Mixes his form and is hard to catch. |
14 | My Friends | Generally begins fast out of the stalls but would need a big improvement to take this out. Others are preferred. |

15 | Mr Exchequer | Resumes over 1400m, which, on paper, reads far too short of his best trip, and he may need the run first-up. Betting market is best guide. |
16 | Dazzle Gold | Will be better suited second-up over 1400m but would need to improve on recent runs. Better form lies on the Polytrack too. |
