2381m – Turf

1 Collide Appealing prospect. Ran well at Royal Ascot over 2392m last year and win over 2800m on all-weather 8 days ago was a good performance. Ryan Moore booked. A good chance.
2 Floating Artist Ascot winner over 2392m last July and should come on for recent run at Newmarket. A tough task.
3 Alright Sunshine An admirable performer who stays well and ended 2019 with victory over 3495m at Ayr, his seventh career win. Respected.
4 Dubai Horizon An infrequent winner and now a 6yo but his two placed runs over 2810m, both in Dubai this year, among his best. An outside chance.
5 Ernesto Recently joined Ian Williams from Germany, where won twice from 18 runs, once placed in a G3 race. Victory would be a surprise.
6 Shailene Won Listed race in Italy and placed in G2 in Germany last year. Fourth of five at Haydock over 2327m 10 days ago. Needs to improve on latest run.
7 Themaxwecan Won at Ascot over 3190m last July. Only fifth of six on reappearance at Haydock 9 days ago but didn’t have the fast ground he’s best on. Not dismissed.
8 Deal A Dollar Moved from Sir Michael Stoute to David Simcock last December. Respectable placed efforts since but not an obvious winner.
9 Amazing Red 7yo who won a Listed race in Spain last year before being well beaten there and in Sweden. Unlikely winner.
10 Fujaira Prince Not out of first three in six runs. Progressive, third in Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot 2019. Not run since but should stay trip and interesting.
11 Ranch Hand Best run when won over 2800m on soft ground at Haydock last year. Mixed form otherwise and hard to be confident.
12 Hochfeld Capable of good runs but long time since last won and not an obvious candidate for victory.
13 Here And Now Put up some good performances in 2018, including when winning over 3251m at York. Has not run since October 2018.
14 Eddystone Rock 8yo winner of 8 of 61 races. Good efforts to win at Ascot and York over longer trips last August. Well beaten in March and younger legs likely to overtake him.
15 Almania Didn’t progress for Sir Michael Stoute last year and having first run for David Simcock. Needs to show more sparkle.
16 Selino Encouraging first season in 2019 and finished it with easy win over 3309m at Wolverhampton. Higher in handicap now but remains interesting.
  Reserves
Reshoun Decent handicapper who stays well and won over 3198m on latest run last November. Not obviously well handicapped and others may improve more.
Speedo Boy Last success was in 2018 and is inconsistent. Not run since last June and he would be a shock winner.
Hereby Improved throughout 2019, winning five of seven races, ending with success over 2831m at Ascot in October. Probably best on soft ground. Interesting.
