1 Moss ’N’ Dale Ran well fresh when 2.75 lengths 6th to Streets Of Avalon in Moonga Stakes (1400m) at Caulfeld on 19 October. Suited by rise in distance and usually races well second-up (four wins from five attempts). Capable wet or dry.
2 Yulong Prince Former South African galloper who had little luck when 3.6 lengths 5th to Wolfe in Coongy Cup (2000m) at Caulfield on 16 October. Strong finisher gradually finding some form. Best on good ground but handles some give.
3 Cascadian Ran well in Gr 1 Epsom Handicap before nose win from Dealmaker in Randwick 1600m on 19 October when overcame interference. 0.3 lengths third over 1600m at Flemington on Saturday. Former French galloper with a strong finish. Handles wet and dry.
4 Kiwia Best work late when 1.7 lengths 3rd to Wolfe in Coongy Cup (2000m) at Caulfield on 16 October. Big track suits. Capable all conditions.
5 Runaway Fitter for first run since May when 4.7 lengths 5th to Admiral’s Joker in Seymour Cup (1600m) on 20 October. Possible leader who is generally best on good ground.
6 Plein Ciel Made late ground when 3.5 lengths 6th to Dr Drill in Cranbourne Cup (2025m) on 13 October at second run this season. All wins on good rated tracks but placed in two runs on soft.
7 Kaspersky Former Italian galloper who’s been Group race competitive in UK. Found 1200m too short when 6.2 lengths 12 to Deprive in Sydney Stakes on 19 October. Since won 1590m barrier trial.
8 So You Win Consistent galloper who settled too far back when 2.7 lengths 4th to Dr Drill in Cranbourne Cup (2025m) on 13 October. Good record this distance and has performed well on good and soft ground.
9 Super Titus Back in trip after failing at 2400m when 11.45 lengths 10th to The Chosen One in Herbert Power Stakes on 12 October. Won at 1700m in this class four starts back. Generally best on dry but has one win on soft ground.
10 Kaonic Unplaced four runs this season but did win this race last year and can improve on 3.8 lengths 8th to Gundown in Moe 2050m on heavy ground on 17 October. Won on good and soft; unplaced four on heavy.
11 Looks Like Elvis Blocked for clear run when 1.3 lengths 3rd to Iconoclasm in Moonee Valley 1500m on 25 October. Won two most recent starts at this distance. Best form on good ground but has won on soft.
12 Second Bullet Freshened since failing at 2000m at this track in July. Ran very well when fresh at 1710m here in April. Best form on good to yielding ground.
13 Pushin’ Shapes Won over 1700m at Caufield on 29 September before fair 4.5 lengths 7th to Wolfe in Coongy Cup (2000m) at Caulfield on 16 October. Back to 1800m an advantage. Best form on good ground.
14 Red Alto Moderate effort at second run this season when 7.5 lengths last of six behind Admiral’s Joker in Seymour Cup (1600m) on 20 October. Generally best on good ground but has one wet track from 11 attempts.
15 A Shin Rook Ballarat 1600m winner on soft ground before 0.75 lengths 2nd to Admiral’s Joker in Seymour Cup (1600m) on 20 October. Placed one of four at this trip. Best form on firm ground.
16 Dealmaker Sound effort when nose 2nd to Cascadian in Randwick 1600m on 19 October. Ran last of 13 over 2000m at Rosehill on Saturday. capable all conditions.
17 Junipal Racing well. Ran on strongly when 0.5 lengths 3rd to Cascadian and Dealmaker in Randwick 1600m on 19 October. Placed one start this course and distance. No ground issues.
