G1 – 1600m – Turf

Blue Rose Cen

Has won five of her seven starts and the fact that she is a G1 and twice a G3 winner over this course and distance suggests she is a very serious candidate. Might lead from the gate, tactics that succeeded here last month.

Dower House

This looks difficult as she has failed to get into the place money in three previous G3 attempts. A respectable third in a Listed event at Gowran Park earlier this month.

Fancy Me

Has won two of her six starts, latterly when her fast finish resulted in defeat of better fancied rivals in a 1600m Deauville G3 last October. Never threatened in a stronger G3 on her return.

Kelina

Winner of her first two starts, with her career-best probably being a close second over this course and distance last month. But more needed against stronger opposition.

Lindy

Showed a mix of speed and stamina to win all three starts at two.  Returned when an encouraging second in a G3 trial for this here last month. Probably not ideally suited by heavy ground then.

Never Ending Story

Irish-trained and, though twice beaten in French visits last season, ran well each time. The form of her good victory in a G3 at Leopardstown last month looks strong. Chances.

Quickstep

Has won two of her three starts, latterly leading from gate to wire for a narrow success over this course and distance. Up in class but probably has plenty more to offer.

Ritournelle

Won a Saint-Cloud Listed event last season, and her strong finish from off the pace nearly resulted in a surprise victory in a G3 over 1400m at Deauville last month. A proven winner at this trip.

Sauterne

Probably excuses for a dismal display when favourite for a Deauville G3 in April. Much better when a 1400m Listed winner at Longchamp since, her third win from four 2023 starts. Proven at this trip.

Showay

Has had a busier career than the usual winner of this.  But showed her resilience when a shock winner of a Deauville G3 last month. Probably vulnerable here.

Swingalong

Her two-year-old winning form – including a courageous G2 success at York – came over 1200m. Led most of the way when a solid third in a 1400m Newbury G3 on her 2023 return.
