Almeida Minoru

This will be his first start since last July.  He won at 2-win class by 5L over this trip and course in May 2022.  Had two-digit finishes in the last two starts before the break. 
    

Cordon Rouge

The well-bred filly by American Pharoah out of the Eclipse award winner Champagne Room scored three wins last term.  Performed disappointingly in her seasonal bow (1800m) in January but showed some progress when 3rd at this class last time out.  Will run over the distance for the first time.
 

Exult

Since shifted to dirt in February 2022, the son of Duramente finished in the top three in five of six starts over this course and distance.  No ground concerns.

Fruor

Has won three of his nine starts, but didn’t make much impact at this class last time in March.

Hulm

A high-achieving runner who finished in top three in the first seven starts, but showed little with only one win afterwards.  Upward curve in three starts this term.

Ihtifaal

The 5-year-old son of Kizuna has shown consistency, finishing on the board in all 8 starts including three wins over the distance.  This will be his first run at Tokyo. 

Invariance

Has run over the distance in last four starts, scoring two wins and one second.  Won a lower (2-win) class race over this course and distance in April last time out.  Prefers standard track.

Keiai Viridian

Has not tasted any success since February 2021.  This will be his first appearance from a 18-month layoff.

Life Lessons

No match for the winner in his first start from a 5-month break in January, but showed some progress in last two runs, finishing 2nd over this trip last time.

Overdeliver

His three wins were all over 1600m.  Finished below par on his return from a 4-month break on turf in January last time. 

T O Stealth

A 4-year-old son of Kitasan Black, he won a lower (2-win) class race over this course and distance in last November and ran 3rd at this class at Chukyo in January last time.

Taiki Force

Won at 2-win class by four lengths over this distance at Chukyo in December 2022, before two-digit finish at this class last time. 

Unaginobori

Showed little on turf but scored two wins in a row on dirt this term.  Ran 3L 3rd  last time over this course and distance.  Races from the back for a late surge.

Veil Nebula

Two wins over turf.  Shifted to the dirt for the first time in 14 starts last time and finished 10th.  Hold-up runner.

Vip Elena

Slow from the gate last time when disappointing 11th at this class in February.

Win Achilles

Has finished out of frame in five starts since moved up to the class.  This will be tough for him.
