Jockey Mickael Barzalona
The Club has arranged for French Jockey Mickael Barzalona to be available to accept race riding engagements at the Sha Tin racemeeting to be conducted this coming Sunday, 20 November 2022.  Jockey Barzalona has advised that his minimum riding weight is 120 lbs.

Jockey Matthew M F Poon
Matthew M F Poon, who was unable to ride in Batch 4 of this morning’s barrier trials after being injured when STAND UP broke through the barriers prior to Batch 3, has subsequently been examined by the Chief Medical Officer who has advised that Jockey Poon sustained a minor injury to the right ankle in the incident.

Following the examination, Jockey Poon has been passed fit to fulfil his race riding engagements at tomorrow night’s Happy Valley racemeeting.  Jockey Poon will again be assessed prior to the racemeeting commencing.

Club Jockey Karis Teetan
Club Jockey Karis Teetan, who has been unable to ride since being stood down on 19 September 2022 by the Club’s Chief Medical Officer due to an ongoing medical condition, has today been further examined by the Chief Medical Officer and following a series of tests has been cleared to resume riding track work on Wednesday, 16 November 2022.

A further release on Jockey Teetan’s availability to ride in barrier trials and in races will be made at the appropriate time.
