One of Germany’s leading three-year-olds before injury brought a premature end to his 2021 season. Getting back to his best in four runs this year and wasn’t beaten far in a German G1 over 2000m last time.

Dilawar

Started off at 2000m and further before improving rapidly at 1600m. That may have been more to do with physical maturity than the change of distance and he is intriguing now he goes back up to 2000m.

In Crowd

Second in course and distance Listed race for three-year-olds here last August but his last five runs were all over a shorter trip and this might stretch him.

Lord Charming

Very consistent in Listed and Group 3 races at this trip but needs to find a few pounds to trouble the best of these.

Majestic Dawn

Earned promotion to stakes races with wins in big-field handicaps and has not looked out of place since. Won Listed race over this distance in May but not seen since then.

Monty

Veteran who has shown repeatedly he is capable in the grade and over this trip but likely to find at least one or two too good, especially as he carries a 2lb penalty for his latest G3 success.

Riocorvo

Has progressed from handicap company to win what may not have been the strongest G3 over 2000m last time out. He needs to find more again.

Wally

Seems as good over 2000m as at 1600m and can rely on an impressive sprint finish. Will be ridden from behind to exploit that weapon.
