1400m – Turf
1 |
Fortune Changer |
Raced first-up off a nine-month break over 1200m here last start and, despite a wide passage, checked home a decent second place. A first local win seems near. |
2 |
Preditor |
Old-timer who finds himself back in Class 4 after many years and he may improve, but he’ll need to on recent efforts when well-beaten. |
3 |
Fighter |
Former Australian galloper making his local debut and his trials have been just okay. 1400m seems his minimum trip, so he may be more effective over further. |
4 |
Sacred Judgement |
An honest Class 4 performer who is always in the market and never beaten far. He needs everything to go right to get the win but it certainly wouldn’t surprise. |
5 |
Fireworks |
Though yet to win in Class 4, he has placed a few times and can reel off a slick final 400m sectional time and he is always close up in a finish. |
6 |
Rocket Ryane |
Won well two starts ago when ridden off the pace but led them up last time and weakened sharply late. On best form, he’s a chance to improve. |
7 |
Ace Sovereign |
Just a one-time winner from 20 starts and he is usually better on the Polytrack. Others are preferred here. |
8 |
Wecando |
He returns to the 1400m again, where he’s a three-time winner, and he is third-up off a break as well as switching back to turf. A few things to like about his chances here and he can improve. |

Happy Friday |
Races for a new stable and has poor stats over 1400m as well as being better suited on the Polytrack. Looking at others. |
