Races second-up off a three-month break and will have a better chance returning to the turf track after a fair fifth place on the Polytrack last start.

Wealth Elite

Looked unlucky when held up for a while in the straight last start when first-up off an eight-month break, finishing 5.8L into ninth place. He switches to turf, where he is yet to win in six tries, but he has a big turn-of-foot under the right race shape.

Dr Kardo

Another who generally does his best work on the Polytrack, with just the one placing from six starts on turf. He was an easy last-start winner over 1100m but 1200m generally tests him late.

Sacred Piece

A newcomer for trainer Jerome Tan who will likely need the run over 1200m after showing his best over 1600m and 1800m in Australia.

He has not won for 428 days now but has placed on four occasions from 10 starts this term. Place chances at odds wouldn’t surprise here.

The Shadow

Yet to win from eight Class 4 starts, but has placed second on two occasions, one of which was last start when storming home late last start over 1200m on the Polytrack.

He is unsuited here as his best form lies over the 1000m and on the Polytrack. Others are preferred.
