HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast Yasuda Kinen from Tokyo Racecourse, Japan as part of the Sha Tin day meeting on Sunday 6 June and Prix du Jockey Club from Chantilly Racecourse, France on the same evening. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races. Win and Place bets of the Prix du Jockey Club will be outbound commingled with the host pools operated by Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) in France△.

For Prix du Jockey Club, Win and Place bets will be outbound commingled with the respective pools operated by Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) of France, in accordance with the modified horse race betting rules of PMU. Quinella, Quinella Place and other exotic bet pools will still be operated under Hong Kong separate pools. If the bets on outbound commingling pools cannot be included in the PMU pools, the dividends will then be calculated based on the Hong Kong pool only and in accordance with PMU’s calculation formula.

Betting on outbound commingled pools is similar to the way of betting on Hong Kong pools. The odds are calculated according to PMU’s method, that is, the investment is deducted prior to the division of the dividend pool. The odds displayed will change to show the odds of the PMU pools when the Hong Kong investment of the current race has been outbound commingled with PMU, and after the dividends of the preceding race have been confirmed.  The Place odds are the minimum value odds in the range.  In other words, the final Place odds could either be the same or higher than the value indicated. The ticket sales for Yasuda Kinen will be available from 6:00 am on Sunday, 6 June while the ticket sales for Prix du Jockey Club will be available from 12:00 nn on Saturday, 5 June. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)

Race times and betting pools

The simulcast of Yasuda Kinen is scheduled as S1-1, and is due to start at 2:40 pm on Sunday 6 June, when ten local races will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on the same afternoon. The local races have been scheduled as Races 1 to 10. The simulcast of Prix du Jockey Club is scheduled as S2-1, and is due to start at 10:00 pm on the same evening. Broadcast arrangements

Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.hkjcracing.com one hour after the running of the race. 
  

‘S1’ or ‘S2’ must be indicated for overseas race bets

Customers betting with cash or Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the ‘S1 box’ or ‘S2 box’ and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces.  Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input ‘overseas race’ and the race number respectively.

If ‘S1’, ‘S2’ or ‘Overseas race’ is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, via Interactive Services, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
