Salios

Highly talented 4YO colt.  G1-runner-up behind Contrail in the Satsuki Sho and the Tokyo Yushun.  Showed the fastest late kick when finished 5th in the G1 Mile Championship.  Did not suit the rain affected track latest in the G1 Osaka Hai.  Races close to speed but can race from behind. Won on firm and good.

Gibeon

A 2000m G3 winner at 3YO in 2018.  Took his long-awaited second graded race success when making all over the rain affected track in the G2 Kinko Sho (2000m) in March.  Finished 7th in the G2 Milers Cup when dropping down to 1600m for the first time in two years.  Races versatile.  Handles firm to yielding.

Daiwa Cagney

Eight wins between 1600m and 2000m in 29 runs.  Grabbed his first graded race victory in the G3 Epsom Cup (1800m) last June.  Finished below par in the first two runs this term but has improved when 4th in the G2 Milers Cup.  Can lead or sit handy.  No ground worries.

Karate

Progressive 5-year-old stretched his winning streak to three and grabbed his first graded race success in the 1600m-G3 Tokyo Shimbun Hai latest.  Four out of five career wins are at 1600m.  Settles better than midfield.  No ground worries.

Gran Alegria

Best sprint/miler in Japan.  Displayed her signature turn of foot and scored three straight wins in the G1 Yasuda Kinen (1600m) in June, the G1 Sprinters Stakes (1200m) in October and the G1 Mile Championship in November.  She overwhelmed the field and registered her fifth G1 victory in the Victoria Mile last out.  Can race held up and sit handy.  No track worries.

Danon Premium

Crowned JRA champion 2-year-old colt in 2017.  Suffered his first defeat in the G1 Tokyo Yushun in 2018.  4th in the G1 Tenno Sho Autumn (2000m) last autumn before finishing 4th in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Cup last out.  Races close to speed.  No track issues.

Lauda Sion

Claimed his first G1 success in the NHK Mile Cup last year.  Started this term with 1.3L 3rd in the G3 Silk Road Stakes (1200m) in January.  Grabbed his second graded race title in the G2 Keio Hai Spring Cup (1400m) last out.  Sits handily.  No going issues.

Indy Champ

The champion miler with eight wins at 1400m and 1600m from 20 starts has not tasted any success since winning the G2 Milers Cup last April but finished brave 0.5L third to Danon Smash latest in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at his first 1200m attempt in March.  Can sit handy but recently raced from deep.  No track worries.

Taurus Gemini

Seven wins at 1600m, 1800m and 2000m from 27 runs.  Making all to win a Listed race (1600m) in March before 3.8L 6th in the G3 Lord Derby Challenge Trophy (1600m) last out.  Leads or sits handily.  No ground worries.

Cadenas

Best finish among his eight G1 races was fourth in the 2020 Osaka Hai (2000m).  Unplaced in the last four starts and first time at 1600m since April 2018.  Hold-up runner.  Has won on firm.

Danon Kingly

Returns since the G1 Tenno Sho Autumn (2000m) in November.  Ran 3rd and 2nd in the G1 Satsuki Sho (2000m) and the G1 Tokyo Yushun (2400m) respectively.  Missed on board for the first time in last year’s G1 Yasuda Kinen when 7th two starts back.  Versatile.  Best on firm.

Cadence Call

Brave 2nd in the 2019 G1 NHK Mile Cup and ended his losing streak when winning the G3 Kyoto Kimpai (1600m) in January.  Neck second in the subsequent G2 Nakayama Kinen (1800m) and won the latest Milers Cup.  Hold-up runner.  Won on firm and good.

Schnell Meister

A promising winner in three races from four career starts, including the G1 NHK Mile Cup, when he found another gear in the critical stage and won by a nose.  Settles midfield or better. Tested only on firm.

Catedral

Three wins between 1400m and 2000m in 16 runs.  Finished gallant 3rd in the 2019 G1 NHK Mile Cup.  Finished out of frame late last season but showed upward curve this term with two seconds at G3.  Hold-up runner.  Won on firm and yielding.
