1600m – Turf
1 | Limited Edition | Drops back into Class 4 company where his better form lies after leading and giving a bold sight in a strong Class 3 form race. |
2 | Centenary Diamond | Well-supported last start and closed off the race strongly for a sound third. Track and distance specialist nearing another win. |
3 | Mo Almighty | Races first-up off a better-than-it-reads eighth place at this track and distance 56 days ago, when heavily supported in the market. Trialled well for his return. |
4 | Buddy Buddy | First-up for a new stable off a quiet trial. Never faraway in the finish and can surprise in a race of this nature. Outsider chance. |
5 | Ironchamp | Will be suited by switching back to turf track here as well as the distance. Can improve off his last start failure as favourite. |
6 | Iron Ruler | A nice 4YO who drew away for a big win over this distance on the Polytrack 49 days ago. No qualms with the switch back to turf track and he looks a key player here. |
7 | Tenyatta | Has not shown enough in three local starts to date but chances will improve seeing this distance for the first time. |
8 | Mustengo | Racing consistently without winning, returning fast late sectionals. Stormed home for a nice fourth last time out and has good claims here with even luck. |

Circuit Star
|
Was slow to begin last start before mustering to race handy but weakening in the home straight. Has shown ability but is hard to catch. Not out of it. |
10 |
Sun Spear
|
Races first-up and based on his poor Class 4 record of eight tries for nothing, he is hard to recommend here. Needs something easier. |
11 | Street Party | A model of consistency recently. Must be considered a winning chance and keep safe here. |
12 | Catch The Tiger | Generally gets back in the running, so races for luck. Place claims at value. |
13 | Ping Pong | Lightly-raced but has not been supported for a long time. Prefer others here. |
14 | Awesome Conqueror | Has been well in the market recently, albeit it in Class 5, and now tries Class 4 for the first time. Drawn well and could surprise. |

15 | Larry | Hard to catch as he often has barrier problems. Races second-up at a more suitable distance but take on trust. |

Whistle Grand
|
Flashed home into second over 1200m last start, beaten just 0.5L and looks to be a chance based on that effort despite not winning in Class 4 from seven tries. |
