Consistent runner raced primarily over 2000m. Has made board in 10 of 12 career starts. Coming off a 1L 2nd in a Kyoto 2200m on 25 October last out. Races from midfield. Decent speed. Worth a wager. 

Columbus Day

Raced primarily over 2400m and up, with best a 3rd in same class, course and distance in June in last 7 starts, mainly over soft ground. Prepped with Oct 17 run. Speed lacking but could get lucky with right trip.

Elevatezza

Won 2 and finished 3rd twice from only 5 career starts over 1800-2200m. Broke maiden over Hanshin 1800m last year. Won again in a Niigata 2200m two starts back. Decent speed. Races from forward position. Should suit Hanshin 2200m. Returning from 2 months off. Promising.

Ever Miranda

Has made board five times, including a 2nd, in last eight starts at this level over 1800-2000m. First time at distance. Races from forward position with good speed. Could get lucky.

Josho Mood

Has best a 4th (for twice) in last 12 starts, all but one at this level. Returning after 4 months. Not promising.

Pizzicato

7YO gelding who struggled in his 4 earlier starts at this level over 2200-2400m. Improved last out when storming home for 2nd in a Kyoto 2400m in early October. Speed lacking but honest runner. Could surprise.

Reinheit

This 3YO colt has 1-4-9 from last 3 runs, all over 2200m, including a 4th in the G2 St Lite Kinen at Nakayama. Good speed.  Tends to race from good position. Third race from layoff. Promising.

Saturn

Highly successful over dirt but being given turf race for first time since his career debut, a 2nd in a 2000m maiden at Chukyo. Won last race in a Kyoto 1900m on 17 October. Wild card.

Weiser

Returns after 4 months. Placed twice after given more distance, all at this level, including a 2nd over Kyoto 2200m in April. Experienced at Hanshin. Extra furlong this time a plus. Could surprise.
