Forecast will be relaunched at the season’s opening meeting on 6 September and goes on sale this Saturday, 5 September. Forecast, which is offered for races with four or more starters, challenges customers to pick the first two horses in the correct order to win a dividend.
Similar to Tierce and Quartet, Forecast also offers five ways of betting, namely single, multiple, banker, banker multiple and multi-banker bets. The unit bet for Forecast is $10. If the total bet amount for Forecast reaches $100, customers can enjoy the benefit of Flexi Bet by paying a unit bet down to $1.
The relaunched Forecast will combine with Trio to form the “Forecast & Trio Merged Pool”, which provides deeper liquidity at a takeout rate of 19.5%. This means the Trio takeout rate will decrease by 5.5%, down from 25%, thereby providing more value to our mass customers.
The investment for Forecast and Trio will be merged and displayed as one single investment, similar to the display of the current “Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool”.
Forecast-related wagering information, such as real-time odds, results and dividends will be included at the Club’s channels. In addition, a new ticket has been designed for Forecast.
