1600m – Turf

Aoi Creator

Big-striding colt. Won debut and his only start at the course and distance last month. Moving up in class. Good racing sense, good movement in work. Acceleration not great but can race at speed for distance.

Jun Light Bolt

Has 1 win from 3 starts. Won over 1800m, with two thirds over 2000m, one at this level. Ritto-based, first time at Tokyo. Good late speed. Can handle slightly heavy track. Bit difficult temperament but has ability. Tends to run from midfield or further back. Distance likely to suit. Should be popular pick.

Mi Amante

Small-framed filly won debut by 3L over Nakayama mile on heavy track. Only start thus far. Moving up in class. First time racing to left. Raced from back of midfield. Good late speed. Promising.

One Sky

Big colt by miler Swept Overboard with 3 starts. Won debut over 1200m and jumped to open class for second and third over 1400m. Miho-based but first time at Tokyo and over mile. Debut win at left-handed Niigata track indicates can handle Tokyo. Handled sloppy track well last out but prefers fast ground.  Dropping down in class. Promising.

Red Raiden

Eishin Flash colt won over course and distance on second start with smooth ride under Christophe Soumillon. Late at break but secured good position. Good overall speed and late kick. Showing great potential. Popular pick.

Rush Up

Huge Victoire Pisa colt won debut on fast track over Tokyo mile racing close to pace. Only start thus far. Moving up in class. Excitable, but has good sense and good footwork despite size. Promising.

Time Machine

Small Lord Kanaloa colt with 1 win, 1 third from 4 starts. Jumped to G3 after breaking maiden but unsuccessful. Finished 5th last out at this level over Tokyo 2000m. Return to mile a plus. Tends to run midfield. Average speed.
