1800m – Turf

Admire Squall

3 wins over 1800m to 2200m from 8 career starts. Fair 5 th in the G3 Radio Nikkei Sho (1800m) at Fukushima in June.   Won by 3/4L over 2000m a class below latest. Tactically versatile. Best on firm. Oisin Murphy will be on board.

Atomic Force

3 wins at 2000m from 11 outings. Finished below par in the G2 St. Lite Kinen (2200m) on yielding at Nakayama in September but bounced back for wire-to-wire victory over 2000m at Tokyo on 27 Oct latest. Likes the left-handed course.  Best on speed.  Best on firm.

Amore Mio

Won 3 at the course and distance from 8 starts. Rounded off last season winning an allowance race and started off this term to win a middle-class stakes race in February. Not a factor when 10th over 1600m at Niigata in August last out. Hold-up horse. Tested only on firm and good.

Intruse

3 wins at Tokyo’s 1600m turf from 8 outings. Finished below par in the first two starts this term but continued upward curve winning a middle class stakes race at here in June and 3rd in an upper-class stakes race at Niigata in August. Solid 3rd in an upper-class stakes race at Tokyo in October latest. Can settle midfield. Best on firm.

Vin de Garde

3 wins at 1600m from 8 starts, also 6th in the G1 Hopeful Stakes (2000m) last December and 3rd in the G3 Mainichi Hai (1800m) at Hanshin in March.  Has blossomed in the last two runs for scores at Hanshin and Kyoto.  Settles close to the speed or further. No going issues.

Ulili

Won over 1800m at Kyoto last November. Talented colt missed the break and neck 2nd in the G3 Mainichi Hai (1800m) at Hanshin in March. Below par in the G2 Aoba Sho (2400m) in April last out. Settles close to the speed. Tested only on firm and good.  Jockey Frankie Dettori has been booked to ride.

Oken Black

Won 4 over 1600m and 2400m from 41 starts. Has not tasted any success since September 2017. Last out 8th over 2000m at Nakayama in March. Settles handy to midfield but also can deep-close. Never tested on yielding and soft.

Cosmo Nine Ball

4 wins at 1600m and 1800m turf from 31 starts. Returned from 14-month break due to his leg problem when finishing last of 12 over 2000m in September over 2000m, before faded late for 8th over 1800m at Tokyo in October last out. Generally settles midfield or further but can sits close to the speed. No ground issues.

Chantilly Rosa

4 wins including 3 at 1800m turf from 21 starts. Missed on board only once in her last 8 runs when 9th in the 1800m-G3 Queen Stakes at Sapporo in July.  Bounced back to finish 2nd in an upper-class stakes race (1800m) at Kyoto in October last out.  Hold-up horse. Best on firm and good. Christophe Soumillon will be abroad.

Solo Phrase

3 wins at 1600m turf from 13 outings. Won an allowance race in January and a middle-class stakes race at Nakayama in April. Missed the break and finished below par in the following upper-class stakes race (1600m) at Tokyo in May last out. Races back and likes firm.  William Buick will be on board.

Trust Kenshin

3 wins at 1600m and 2400m from 18 starts. Placed on board in last six runs and finished 5th in the G2 Copa Republica Argentina over 2500m on 3 Nov latest. Tactically versatile. Tested only on firm and good.

Burringurrah

4 wins between 1600m and 2600m from 13 starts.  His final start last season was a win in a 2600m lower-class stakes race at Sapporo in August. Won by 3L in a middle-class stakes race at Tokyo on 5 Oct latest. Settles midfield or better, sometimes further than midfield.  Ryan Moore has been booked to ride.

Premio Tailor

4 wins at 1600m and 1800m from 33 starts. Ran a decent 3rd in an upper-class stakes race at the course and distance in May.  Also solid 3rd over 1800m at Fukushima in her most recent run in July.  No track worries.  Races on speed or sits handily.

Lindy Hop

3 wins at 1800m and 2000m from 12 starts. Showed the upward curve this term with 2 wins and 1 second in the first 3 outings but well beaten in the G3 Queen Stakes (1800m) at Sapporo in July last out. Generally settles midfield or better. No ground issues.

Liebfraumilch

3 wins at 1600m and 1800m from 22 starts. Developed her form with 2 wins and 2 placings in 8 outings this term.  Fair 6th over 1600m at Tokyo in October latest. Can lead or close to the speed and also settle from midfield.  Best on firm.
