Free entries close in one week for HK$93 million LONGINES HKIR
Free entries will close in one week for all four Group 1 contests at the 2019 LONGINES Hong Kong International Races, which will take place at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday, 8 December.
The closing time for free entries to the flagship year-end occasion is 6:00pm (Hong Kong time) on Monday, 21 October, 2019. Supplementary entries close on 18 November, 2019.
The LONGINES HKIR carries total prize money of HK$93 million. The showcase contest, the 2000m G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Cup has a lucrative purse of HK$28 million; the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile is worth HK$25 million; the 1200m G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint and the 2400m G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Vase are each worth HK$20 million.
Horse connections can use the convenient Online Entry Form at the Hong Kong Jockey Club website www.hkjc.com. The system allows multiple entries to be made at the click of a mouse to all of Hong Kong’s G1, G2 and G3 races throughout the season.
All of the jurisdiction’s 31 Group races are open to international entrants. The online entry form and lists of all Hong Kong Pattern races are found under the “International Racing Overview & Entries” sub-page of the site’s “International Racing And Sale” section.
