The Hong Kong Jockey Club has obtained the approval from Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) to relocate the Sunday (27 October) race meeting from the Happy Valley Racecourse to the Sha Tin Racecourse, and the Wednesday night (30 October) race meeting from the Sha Tin Racecourse to the Happy Valley Racecourse. Respective Race Programme Amendment will be published separately.

Beginning with the Sunday race meeting on 20 October, all Sha Tin day meetings through the end of the calendar year will commence with the first race at 12:15 pm.
