G3 – 1400m – Turf

Air Hair Lair On all known evidence, well out of his depth.
Bye Bye Hong Kong Won first two races this year, including four runner Listed race at Windsor over 1600m. Respectable fourth of six in G3 at Epsom over 1700m. Probably cope with drop in trip but stablemate Happy Power looks better.
Dubai Dominion Won one of seven races. Run fairly well in Listed company and acts on soft going but hard to envisage him winning.
Duke Of Hazzard Only won two of 11, including Listed race at Deauville last year but decent fifth in G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains on heavy ground, which offers hope.
Happy Power Strong improver this year, latterly winning Listed race at York eight days ago. Liking for soft ground a big plus. Fine chance.
I Am Superman Won two handicaps in April and improved to run respectably in Listed race at the Curragh before sixth, at 66-1, in the Irish 2000 Guineas. More improvement still necessary.
Marie’s Diamond Last year won G3 at Curragh and twice runner-up on G2s. Consistent this year without improving. Third in Listed race at Epsom over 1400m last month. Has work to do.
Masaru Won first two races this year, including handicap off mark of 91. Well beaten in subsequent good handicap. Needs more and probably needs a sound surface.
Momkin Sole win was in novice race at Newbury last year but this year second in a G3 then midfield finish in 2000 Guineas. Difficult to assess but needs to do better.
No Nonsense Runner-up in G3 at Ascot over 1200m last month before disappointing in Listed race over 1000m at York. Sprint bred and not certain to stay trip nor to appreciate soft ground.
On A Session Well beaten in last year’s Listed Chesham Stakes and last in a G3 at Naas in May. Then won handicap at Listowel. Needs a lot more but does have liking for soft going.
So Perfect Competitive in G1 sprints last year and after narrow defeat in G3 over 1400m at Newbury won G3 over 1200m at Naas. Probably stays trip, is okay with give in ground and has good chance.
Space Blues Improved when dropped in trip to 1400m, latterly winning Listed race at Epsom. Strong pace should help him settle and excellent chance.
Space Traveller Highly tried last year, runner-up in G3 in France. This year good placed runs in Listed races, including behind Khaadem and Oxted at Newbury, then not beaten far in Listed race over 1300m on soft ground at Maisons-Laffitte. A lively outsider.
Urban Icon Won both races last year. Up in Class, respectable efforts when midfield in 2000 Guineas and narrowly beaten in Listed race at Epsom. This requires more.
Western Frontier Best run latest when respectable fourth behind stablemate So Perfect in G3 at Naas. A mountain to climb.
Angel’s Hideaway Talented filly won G3 at Ascot over 1200m last year and finished fourth in 1000 Guineas before disappointing in Listed race at Epsom. Almost all runs on good to firm going and soft ground a concern.
Fire Fly Only win from nine tries a maiden race at Tipperary last year. Latest run was best – fair fourth in G3 over 1400m but needs more and soft ground probably not ideal.
