G3 – 1703m – Turf
| Veracious | Effective from 1600m to 2000m, she sat close to the pace before pouncing to win a Sandown G3 over 1600m last September. She started favourite for her return in May but failed to quicken sufficiently in the closing stages of that Newmarket G2. Perhaps this classy filly needed that run. |
| Akvavera | She does have the advantage of course and distance experience, and she led throughout to easily win a handicap here last September, giving weight to most of her rivals. Missing the break, she could never get prominent and finished a remote last of seven at Goodwood on her 2019 return. |
| Anna Nerium | Not very big but with plenty of heart. She is twice a winner at G3 level and she is proven effective at up to 1600m as she showed when a close second in a well-contested Listed event at Goodwood last time. Best on slow ground, but good ground is also fine. |
| Awesometank | One of plenty in this field trying Epsom’s idiosyncratic track for the first time. She doesn’t accelerate quickly so current strategy seems to have her close to the speed, tactics that saw her win a 1600m Listed event at Goodwood in May. She’s tough. |
| Bella Ragazza | Her two latest wins were gained in handicap and she looks to have a bit to prove in this stronger event especially as she is probably at her best in slow ground – unlikely here. But considering she raced too freely her 2019 return at Ascot was quite encouraging. |
| Contrive | From a stable having another very good season, she has shown her best form so far on all-weather surfaces and is 0-8 on turf. However she did get to within a short-head of winning a well-contested handicap over Ascot’s straight 1600m on her latest start. Races prominently. |
| Nyaleti | A well-travelled filly but that does not include Epsom, having her first start here. Her two wins in Group company have been gained by impressive winning margins and, after leading, she was a good second in a Newmarket G2 on her 2019 return. Not as good at York last time. |
| Vivianite | Has scored just one win from 14 starts and moving to a high-percentage winning trainer hasn’t so far worked this season though she did lead for a long way when third in a Listed event over 1600m at Goodwood in May. |
