G3 – 1703m – Turf

Chief Ironside His two career wins have come over further than this and he also does not arrive here in such good form as some of these rivals. He’ll certainly need to improve on his remote sixth of six in a Chester G2 last time though the slow ground wouldn’t have helped.
Master The World Withdrawn
Mordin Only one disappointing show in his ten race career which has yielded four wins. He moves up from handicap company but judging by the way he kicked clear in a soft-ground (he’s very effective on quicker also) handicap at Haydock in April he deserves a crack at it.
Oh This Is Us A huge favourite with his stable, winning 12 of his 45 races including some big prizes. He pushed Bye Bye Hong Kong all the way at Windsor last time and in 2017 finished a close third in this race, despite not having the best passage.
Zaaki From a stable in hot form, he came from last to first to win a Listed event over Ascot’s straight 1600m on his 2019 return in May. That was a clear career best, perhaps assisted by a gelding operation. His nearest victim then has enhanced the form by winning in France since.
Zabriskie His only win from ten starts came in maiden company. Very hard to give this guy a serious chance. A remote last in the Derby on this day last year and also beaten many lengths in his four starts since.
Bye Bye Hong Kong This three-year-old is taking on older horses here but he is in great shape, winning both starts this season. A possible G1 target at Longchamp was avoided recently and instead he showed good tactical speed from the front to win a Listed contest at Windsor.
