1200m – Turf
1 | Biraz |
Racing in great form and was a winner two starts ago before being narrowly beaten last start by Stunning Cat when caught in the shadows of the post. Must be rated a chance at value. |
2 | Paparazzi |
Quality sprinter who has raced at a much higher level and looks well placed in a Class 3 race. Has not had any luck recently but he appears a big winning chance in this race. His chances will improve on a wet track. |
3 | Flak Jacket |
Old timer who can produce a good run here and there. Stable is in great form and he can be considered for the exotics. |
4 | Barbeque |
Impressive debut winner in Singapore two starts ago before failing with no excuses at his most recent start. Perhaps the drop back to 1200m will suit him better but take on trust. |
5 | Crown Gift |
Has been mixing his form with two wins from his last five starts. Was disappointing last start when finishing 12th and cannot recommend here. |
6 | Heliosphere |
Has not raced since returning a roarer behind Mikki Joy in February earlier this year. Has loads of talent but is also a big query given his vet issues. |
7 | Caorunn |
Former top juvenile who has been out of form for a long time and has not won a race for 636 days. He drops in class but it is hard to see him winning. |
8 | Super Power |
Talented four-year-old who has won three of his eight starts and has been trialling impressively for his return. He is more than capable of beating this opposition and should be rated among the top chances. |
9 | Baffert |
Overlook last start when he was caught wide and endured a torrid trip. Previously he was placed to Circuit Mission and that form line looks strong enough to be competitive in this race. |
10 | Star Emperor |
Has won two of six starts in Singapore and last start recorded the fastest final 400m when charging home for 4th place to Stunning Cat. Needs a fast early speed to produce a barnstorming finish. |
11 | Captain Jamie |
More than capable four-year-old who returns from a break and has been trialling impressively. He appears well-prepared to run a big race. |
12 | Siam Warrior |
Impressive debut winner two starts ago who was disappointing at his most recent start. Stable is in great form and that may improve his chances. |
13 | Bartimaeus |
Singapore debut winner four starts ago who has struggled since and place chances at best. |
14 | Justice Light |
Has been unplaced at all eight starts in Class 3 in the past and this looks too tough. |

15 | Charger |
Found Class 2 level a leap too far last start and will be better suited by the drop back to Class 3. Won a similar race three starts ago and should be given a knockout chance. |
16 | Ironside |
Caught the eye running home nicely last start behind Glasgow in a good quality Class 3 race. Has shown enough ability in six Singapore starts to suggest he can win at this level. |
