| 2 | Aramco | Returned to form with a fast finishing win in a Class 1 1200m on 7 April, clocking a fast time of 1:08.94s. Stable is in great form but he faces a big test at weight-for-age. |
| 3 | Clarton Super | Versatile six-year-old who has been struggling with injury but warmed up for this with a solid recent trial. Usually better suited over further but can sprint well fresh. |
| 4 | Constant Justice | Winner of the Group 3 New Year Cup (1200m) who battled since then to maintain form. Looks outclassed. |
| 5 | Mister Yeoh | Quality four-year-old who was gallant in the Group 3 Rocket Man Sprint (1200m), beaten into 3rd just 0.6 lengths from the winner. Must be rated a knockout chance. |
| 6 | Zac Kasa | Enigmatic sprinter who boasts tactical speed but mixes his form. Finished 2nd in this race last year after leading only to be run down late by Lim’s Cruiser. Minimal excuses when finishing 4th in the Group 3 Rocket Man Sprint (1200m) and it’s hard to see him turning the tables. |
| 7 | Nimble | Has been a revelation since arriving from Australia as a one-time winner by winning all five local starts in Singapore. He faces a massive rise in class and this appears an uphill task. |
| 8 | Super Fortune | Backs up quickly from last week’s 4th place to Skywalk with only 110lb. Has not won since March 2018 and this looks too tough. |
| 9 | Bold Thruster | Rising star three-year-old who has won six of his eight career starts, including a victory in the Group 3 Rocket Man Sprint (1200m) under handicap conditions. He appears to have untapped ability and looks the obvious danger. |
| 10 | Gingerella | Ultra-consistent mare who gets a 3.3lb allowance. Was beaten into 2nd at Class 2 level last start and prior to that finished ahead of Zac Kasa when 2nd to Aramco. Looks a pace influence in the race. |
