The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast seven races from the Yushun Himba Day at Tokyo Racecourse in Japan on Sunday, 19 May (first race 11:50am, Hong Kong time).
The Yushun Himba (G1 2400m for 3yo fillies) is Japan’s equivalent to the Oaks and the 2nd leg of Japan’s Fillies’ Triple Crown. It has been won by some exceptional horses in the last decade, such as BUENA VISTA (2009), GENTILDONNA (2012) and ALMOND EYE (2018).
The details of supporting races will be announced later in the week.
Final declarations with barrier draws for the Yushun Himba will be available on Friday, 17 May, while the final declarations with barrier draws for the other races will be published at HKJC.com on Saturday, 18 May.
