Enjoy the spectacular on-course activities during the National Day Race Meeting at Sha Tin Racecourse on Monday, 1 October.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club has arranged a strong line-up of exciting racing action, top-class cultural performances, attractive National Day-themed souvenirs and delicious Chinese cuisine, to celebrate the holiday with racing fans. Tourists to Hong Kong will be offered free admission.
Parade Ring festivities
The day's festivities will begin in the Parade Ring with Cai Nan, a famous soprano from the China National Opera House. She will perform the Chinese National Anthem and other patriotic songs accompanied by the Hong Kong Police Band. Another highlight will be an amazing acrobatic performance with drums by the world-acclaimed Guangxi Acrobatics Troupe.
Limited edition souvenir covers
A range of National Day-themed merchandise will be on sale at Sha Tin’s designated sale counter and Gift at Races souvenir shops on 1 October. A souvenir envelope featuring “Ric Tse Legography” image, showing the energy of horse racing and the festive atmosphere at the National Day Race Meeting, will be issued jointly by the Club and Hongkong Post.
