The Department of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare & Biosecurity Policy have advised that FANTASTIC TREASURE, which is declared to start in tomorrow’s The Stewards’ Cup, was found to be lame in the right front leg on 16 January 2024 after an incident on the horse walking machine.

Trainer Mr D A HAYES has informed Stewards that FANTASTIC TREASURE responded well to veterinary and farrier treatment and only missed pace work on 17 January 2024, but completed slow work on that day.

FANTASTIC TREAURE was examined this morning (20 January 2024) by Veterinarians from the Department of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare & Biosecurity Policy and passed suitable to start in tomorrow’s The Stewards’ Cup.
