RACE 8 – COTTON FINGERS

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that COTTON FINGERS had sustained a right front tendon injury after racing. Before being allowed to race again, COTTON FINGERS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 10 – SWIFT ASCEND

SWIFT ASCEND, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SWIFT ASCEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SWIFT ASCEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted yesterday morning of all other horses inspected during last Saturday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
