Former star Singapore sprinter who is a G2 winner and G1 placed at Moonee Valley. Was 3.25L off the winner here at most recent run in G1 and needs to show a lot more.

A G3 winner three starts ago who was okay in The Everest when finishing eighth, 3.5L from the winner. Recent form has been sound and he goes into this race with plenty of respect.

Uncommon James

Lightly raced gelding with an outstanding record. Has only been unplaced once in his 12-race career which has six wins. Already a G1 winner who is big threat in this.

Jigsaw

Has a good record at the distance and track where he won a G2 earlier this year. This is a big step up in class and he is considered a rough place chance.

I Am War

Best suited back in weaker races. Showed improvement here at last start in a handicap but this is up another notch or two and will find the opposition far superior.

Imperatriz

Champion New Zealand mare who has had four runs in Australia for a narrow second on debut and then won her next three all at Moonee Valley, including a G2 and dual G1s. Has settled off the pace and steamed home. Clearly the one to beat.

Has gone through the grades at a steady pace and has answered the challenges winning a G2 and a G3 at 1200m at her past three runs. On the improve and ready to challenge at the next level.
