Won three in a row, including the G1 Queensland Oaks (2200m), before heading to the spelling paddock to be prepared for the spring. Had three trials which have gradually increased in distance and the mile first up is ideal.

Consistent mare that showed she is up to this level with victory in the G3 Aspiration Quality at this distance and track in March. Is never far away at 1600m-plus. Has plenty of appeal.

Frumos

Lightly-raced mare that has only raced at 1600m twice, winning at G3 level at her first attempt. Resumed over 1200m last month and as expected did little but will respond to the rise in distance.

Renaissance Woman

A G3 winner at 2000m, she had two soft trials and a warm-up run over 1600m to have her ready to now win second up where her record is two wins from three races. Must be respected.

Comes into calculations. Is a Listed winner and placegetter at 2100m. Had three trials leading into a 1600m victory at Warwick Farm last month. Has trialled since the win and will make her presence felt.

Steps up to 1600m for the first time in her 19-race career. Has won once over 1400m and was placed over that trip at her most recent run. The rise to 1600m is ideal.

Two of her three wins have been at around 1600m, including one a Listed level in April. Is now in a new stable and the past two runs at 1300m and 1400m have been average. Is okay on her day and 1600m is a bonus.

Patiently taken through her grades before showing she is competitive at higher levels. Didn’t do a lot at her last start when resuming in the G2 Golden Pendant (1400m). Will be suited to the 1600m.

Modest performances since finishing runner-up in the G1 Australian Oaks when sent out at big odds at this track in April. Needs to find dramatic improvement.

Former French mare that made her Australian debut in May. Won two races at home but is yet to win here but was G3 placed at Doomben over 1600m. Is first up after two trials and will have her admirers.

Ausbred Flirt 

Rises a lot in class, but has won at 1600m and been placed over that journey at Randwick. Resumed with a 1400m win at Randwick which makes the mile an ideal assignment in a tough race.

Placed in two Group races (2000m and 2400m) earlier this year but two subsequent runs have been average. Broke through for her maiden at 1600m but this is at another level.

Is entitled to be going around in much easier races and isn’t up to the class of the opposition.
