G1 – 1600m – Turf

Goldana |
Made a winning debut in Ireland, landing a 1400m G3 on heavy ground in April. Has not progressed since, and unless the ground turns soft, it is hard to recommend her chances. Races prominently. |
2 |
Heredia |
Really thriving this season and has shown her appreciation of a return to this trip, with a Listed win at Haydock and a G3 victory at Sandown. Wants a fast pace to aim at in this first G1 venture. |
3 |
Inspiral |
Struggled on soft ground two starts back but back at her brilliant best just 11 days later when showing terrific acceleration to win a G1 at Deauville – her seventh win from 11 starts. Big chance. |

Mqse De Sevigne |
Consistent and has developed from a very good filly into a dual G1 winning filly, delivered from the back with perfectly-timed challenges twice for narrow victories at Deauville in July and August. Faster ground expected than she has encountered so far. |
5 |
Random Harvest |
Twice a G3 winner and came close to landing a shock G2 success at Royal Ascot. Didn’t enjoy soft ground at Goodwood last time, and more suitable conditions expected here. Still, this looks tough. |
6 |
Roman Mist |
Gained the seventh win of her career when returning to her best to win a 1400m G3 at Dresden in September. More exposed than all – this is her 31st career run – and not an obvious G1 winner. |
7 |
Coppice |
Gained her fourth win – from seven starts – with a Listed success over this course and distance last month, relaxed at the back before finishing fast. Likes quick ground and probably still improving. |

Meditate |
Career highlight was her fast-finishing firm ground victory in a 1600m G1 at Keeneland last November. No wins since but particular encouragement in first-time blinkers at Leopardstown last month. |
