The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting three races on Chipping Norton Stakes Day and six races from the Saudi Cup meeting on Saturday, 25 February.

Chipping Norton Stakes Day from Australia (Sat 25 February – 1st race 13.00pm Hong Kong time)
Sydney will host its first Group One meeting in autumn – the Chipping Norton Stakes Day. To be run over 1600m at weight-for-age conditions, the Chipping Norton Stakes serves as a major lead-up for the upcoming championship races in April such as Doncaster Mile, Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Sydney Cup. It has been won by some of Australia’s greatest horses, the likes of Tie The Knot and Winx, both of which emerged victorious on four occasions.
The meeting also features two important races over 1400m for female horses, the G1 Surround Stakes (3yo fillies) and the G2 Guy Walter Stakes (4yo+ mares).

Saudi Cup Day from Saudi Arabia (Sat 25 February – 1st race 22.05pm Hong Kong time)
The Saudi Cup Day was first launched in 2020 to mark a new beginning of the horseracing sport in the Kingdom.  The core race G1 Saudi Cup (1800m dirt) carries a staggering purse of US$20m making it the richest race ever held. In the space of just a few years, the meeting has become a flagship sporting event with massive viewership worldwide.   
The 2023 Saudi Cup Day has attracted an impressive list of entries with high profile challengers from USA, Japan, UK and UAE, etc. setting sights not just on the Saudi Cup but other valuable races such as the Saudi Derby, Riyadh Dirt Sprint and the US$2.5m Red Sea Turf Handicap.
