G3 – 2100m – Turf

1

Byline

Has a good win and place record since leaving the UK to compete in Bahrain. However some stamina worries at the move up to this trip, plus some rivals may be too classy.

2

Castle

This formerly French-trained gelding enjoyed some success when competing over longer trips than this. An unlikely profile for a winner of this race.

3

Dubai Future

Won at Royal Ascot and Meydan in 2022, never far from the lead before pouncing. Below his best last time, but still looks a strong player. A fast pace would help.

4

Eagle’s Flight

Has past winning form in Ireland and has recently also finished second and fifth at Riyadh – including over this trip. Likely to be outclassed here.

5

Flying Visit

Ex-Irish trained, he has course and distance winning form. Still prominent 400m out in this race last year, fading late on to finish a respectable sixth. Others may again be too good.

6

Missed The Cut

Highly progressive winning four of his six starts including a Royal Ascot handicap. A Lingfield winner last time and his nearest rival then has easily won two Meydan G2’s since. Big chance.

7

Mostahdaf

Last of 20 in the Arc at Longchamp when last seen, never happy on the deep ground. Much better than that as he showed with a smooth G3 victory at Kempton. This distance looks ideal.

8

Peter the Great

Some solid UK form when trained by John & Thady Gosden, including two 2000m handicap victories last year. Well beaten for his new stable on his first Riyadh start.

9

Sir Busker

Prepped for this when second at Lingfield this month, a great effort considering he lost many lengths at the start. Very capable at this level, and won a G2 at York over a similar trip to this last July.

10

Star Of Wins

A dual winner in 2020 when trained in the UK. Has winning form over this course and distance, winning a valuable event here last year. But faces some stronger opposition now.

11

White Moonlight

She is lightly raced but probably ran her best race last time when, after usual front-running tactics, she was only caught near the end of a 1600m G2 at Meydan.
