1600m – Turf

1 Carlisle Strong finishing win first-up at Sandown 1300m Benchmark 84 on 4 February. Won three of five at 1600m and twice won second-up.
2 Lyrical Lad Made late ground when 2.95L 7th to Rambler Rebel in Moonee Valley 1500m Benchmark 78 on 28 January. Fitter for two runs this campaign and excels course and distance.
3 Prix De Turn Not raced since unplaced in Moonee Valley 2040m G3 last September on soft ground. High strike rate on good ground and 1600m suitable fresh.
4 Beltoro Fit, racing well and proven here. Finished on solidly when 4.25L 2nd to Right You Are in Sandown 1800m Benchmark 100 on 4 February.
5 Rambler Rebel Led in 1.75L win from Worsfold in Moonee Valley 1500m Benchmark 78 on 28 January.
6 Monarch Of Egypt Ex-HK galloper who did best work late when 2.25L 4th to Rambler Rebel in Moonee Valley 1500m Benchmark 78 on 28 January.
7 Riverplate Doubt in best part of track when 1.4L 4th to Glory Daze in Sandown 1700m Benchmark 78 on 4 February. Won three of previous five starts.
8 Ima Shelby Second to Hasseltoff a 1700m here before sound head win from Ceasar in Moonee Valley 1600m Benchmark 70 on 21 January.
9 Serious Liaison Ex-HK galloper. Slow to begin and then blocked for clear run when 3.45L 8th to Rambler Rebel in Moonee Valley 1500m Benchmark 78 on 28 January.
10 Storm King Not raced since last August when second in Caulfield 2000m Benchmark 78. Trialled well on 31 January and 1600m suitable fresh.
11 So You See Pulled up lame and with EIPH after 6.3L 12th to Glory Daze in Sandown 1700m Benchmark 78 on 4 February. Can do much better.
12 Wishlor Lass Won all three starts at 1400m after debuting last December. Latest was 1.5L win from Rumbled Again in Sandown Fillies and Mares Benchmark 70 on 26 January.
13 Daily Bugle Strong finisher who did best work lane when 1.55L 7th to Here To Shock in Sandown 1400m Benchmark 84 on 11 February.
