HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast nine races of Lightning Stakes Day from Flemington Racecourse in Australia on Saturday, 18 February. Bets will be accepted* for these races. Two Double Trio pools will be offered and a jackpot of $360,850 is carried forward to the 2nd Double Trio pool.
World Pool will also be hosted (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce) for the first time in an Australian simulcast meeting to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of Lightning Stakes Day, the HKJC has naming rights for two races of the meeting, namely the HKJC Elms Handicap (S1-8) and the World Pool Handicap (S1-9).

The simulcast races of the Lightning Stakes Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-9, and are due to start at 9:35 am on 18 February. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

– Rebates will be offered for the pools of Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Merged Pool Win on losing bets placed on simulcast overseas races (excludes outbound commingling pools). Any ticket or betline with a total losing bet amount of HK$10,000 or above will be eligible to receive a rebate of 6% – Four Place dividends will be offered for overseas races with 21 or more declared starters at the commencement of selling – All Up as well as Cross Pool All Up bets are available for S1-1 to S1-9, but cannot mixed with local races – If there is no winner of the Double Trio, the jackpot generated will be carried forward to Saudi Cup Day on 25 February – The final betting pool arrangement is subject to the Club’s final announcement |

“S1” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs#, via Digital Channels**, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Ticket sales for Lightning Stakes Day will be available from noon on Friday, 17 February. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
