Won a G2 last time and has a bright chance of following up. He is drawn well and has overall solid form.

Stable companion to Val D’Orcia and has just as good a chance. She takes on males but has shown tremendous ability and is one for the shortlist.

Captain’s Ransom

A champion filly that is a multiple Grade 1 winner. She let the side down last time but should be able to bounce right back to best and rates the one they all have to beat.

Smorgasbord

Ignore his last run. His overall form is strong enough to respect his chances here.

Alesian Chief

Has tons of ability and showed that last time when smashing the opposition. If he were to win this it would be no shock at all.

Chimichuri Run

Is seldom too far off the action but does have a tad to find to make the first four. In saying that, he has ability and is still an entire and could get closer than he has been recently.

Good Traveller

Showed last time that his two indifferent runs before that were all wrong. He has shown ability and should be able to make his presence felt here.

Master Archie

Is in very good form and has to be taken very seriously here. Gavin Lerena knows his every stride and they have strong claims.

Zarina

Is never too far off the action but a tad more is needed from her for the win. She could get into the back end of the quartet.

Was drawn very deep last time when finishing behind Val D’Orcia. He is drawn fairly okay and based on overall form will have a say.

Supreme Quest

Is drawn deep but never too far off the action. There are many others that are preferred for the win in this race but it might be worth including him in the back end of the quartet.

Battle Force

Showed signs of coming back to best last time and has to be respected and included in most bets on that.

Bohica

His last run can be ignored but his run in Cape Flying Championship must be taken seriously. Despite his deep draw he has to be considered as he has tons of talent.

Is never too far off the action but has a tough task. Others are preferred for the win.

Reserves

Ultra Magnus

Is taking time to win again and cannot be fancied on current efforts. Is likely to be one of the long shots in the race.

Taking time to get it all right again and others preferred.

Solid form and might be able to get into the money but others seem much stronger.
