The Hong Kong Jockey Club notes that the Government has issued a compulsory testing notice in the late evening of 19 December 2021 involving preliminary positive imported cases which by definition were tested positive when they arrived in Hong Kong. Based on the government notice, the imported cases, who have visited a number of premises in Hong Kong, had fulfilled the requirement of presenting a negative Covid-19 test result to depart from Hong Kong.

Two specified premises of the Sha Tin Clubhouse having been visited by the imported cases in the evenings on three days in December are as follows:

1. Oi Suen on 2 and 13 December
2. The Ladies’ Purse on 15 December

The Club would like to remind visitors present at Oi Suen between 6pm and 11pm on 2 and 13 December, and The Ladies’ Purse between 8pm and 10pm on 15 December, to comply with the government’s requirement to undergo a Covid-19 nucleic acid test by 21 December.

It should be noted that in the interest of public health protection, the Club has put in place a series of stringent public health measures for Clubhouse premises. Concerned Members and their guests subject to the government’s requirement to undergo a Covid-19 nucleic acid test are reminded to obtain a negative test result before they are permitted to enter Clubhouse premises. In addition, visitors are required to scan the LeaveHomeSafe QR code or provide their contact information, receive temperature screening before entry and wear face masks.
