| 1 | Animal Fever | Only once a winner from seven starts but appears to try hard and has been placed in all other starts. Chance if still at the top of her game. |
| 2 | Be My Day | Has tried sprinting but has improved since moving up to this trip, and streaking clear for a 4L victory at Longchamp last month. Didn’t have a great trip here last time. |
| 3 | Mon Ami L’Ecossais | Has a low strike-rate on turf and recent starts at Chantilly and here at Deauville have not been encouraging. |
| 4 | Nature’s Colors | Good chances here with his high winning strike rate, landing four of his six starts including earlier this month at Clairefontaine – well in control late on. |
| 5 | Navidad | Though placed plenty of times is very frustrating, so far without a win from 17 starts. Well beaten here last time. |
| 6 | Royaumont | May be better on all-weather than turf, having won his two races on that surface. Not the most obvious winner. |
| 7 | Varkesha | This well bred filly was placed on her first three starts and then gained her first win over a longer trip. Her accomplished trainer rates her quite highly. |
