Seeks to become the eighth unbeaten horse to win the first two legs of the triple crown.  Pulled away for a comfortable 3-length victory in the G1 Satsuki Sho (2000m) latest.  Sits handy.  Ran on firm and good.

Winner in a Newcomer last November.  Ran brave 2nd in the G3 Kyodo News Hai (1800m) in February before captured first grade race success in the G2 Spring Stakes (1800m) in March.  Hold-up runner.  No ground worries.

Two time runner-up at G3 and G2.  Ran 3.8L 6th in his first G1 attempt, NHK Mile Cup last out.  Races handy and can lead.  Ran on firm and good.

Red Genesis

Three wins from seven starts. Claimed the G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai (2200m) in his first attempt at Group level last out.  Settles midfield or further.  Ran on firm and good.

Deep Monster

Three wins from five runs.  Accelerated powerfully to claim the listed Sumire Stakes (2200m) by 2.5L two starts back.  Circled wide and finished 7th latest in the Satsuki Sho (2000m).  Comes from the back.  Likes firm.

Baji O

Finished in first four in all six starts.  Opened his listed class account latest with an impressive win in Principal Stakes (2000m) at Tokyo.  Best when handy and likes firm.

Gratias

Won a Newcomer (2000m) at Tokyo last October.  Sidelined for nearly three months and won impressively by 2.5L in the G3 Keisei Hai (2000m) before 4.3L 6th in the G1 Satsuki Sho.  Can lead or sit handy.  Tested on firm and good.

Yoho Lake

Consistent runner with two wins. 3rd in the G1 Hopeful Stakes (2000m) and ran 2nd in the G3 Kisaragi Sho (2000m).  Showed fastest late kick but belatedly 5th in the Satsuki Sho latest.  Hold-up runner.  No going worries.

Lagom

Creditable victory in the G3 Kisaragi Sho (2000m) in the seasonal debut.  Outrun after turning for home and no match for the winner in the Satsuki Sho latest. Settles better than midfield.  Tested on firm and good.

Shahryar

Won the G3 Mainichi Hai (1800m) latest in track record.  Showed his talent when 3rd to Efforia in his first start up from an almost four-month break two starts back.  Settles midfield and ran only on firm.

Stella Veloce

Another proven 3-year-old.  Ran about 0.75L second in the G1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes (1600m).  Turned in the impressive turn of speed for 3rd place in the G1 Satsuki Sho latest.  No track worries.  Comes from the back with late burst.

Wonderful Town

Finished in top three in all five runs.  The consistent runner took a G3 last November and backed that up with win at this course in the G2 Aoba Sho latest.  Hold-up runner and ran on firm and good.

Two wins from three starts at 1800m.  Ran brave 2nd in his first G3 attempt last out.  Best when handy but has closing speed.  Tested only on firm.

Titleholder

Never missed on board in five starts.  Claimed the first graded race in the G2 Yayoi Sho (2000m) and still showed tremendous effort to finish well 2nd in the Satsuki Sho latest.  Leads or sits handily.  Can handle firm and good.

Admire Hadar

The well-bred colt won three times from five runs.  Claimed the listed Wakaba Stakes (2000m) by 3L at Hanshin in March.  Ran 3.5L fourth in the G1 Satsuki Sho (2000m) under Christophe Lemaire last out.  Close to speed but can race from midfield.  Has run on firm and good.

Satono Reinas

Only filly in the field.  Won the first two starts before showing finishing kick but was a nose second in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies.  Burst her outstanding closing speed in the following G1 Oka Sho but was second again. Settles midfield or further. Tested on good and firm.

Bathrat Leon

Up and coming 3-year-old with 3rd in the G3 Shinzan Kinen (1600m) before capturing the second straight win in the G2 New Zealand Trophy (1600m) in April.  Sent to the third favourite latest in the G1 NHK Mile Cup but stumbled soon after break and lost rider.  Best when leads.  Ran on firm and good.
