1200m – Turf

In All His Glory

First-up off a 112-day break and resumes for a new trainer in Timothy Fitzsimmons. Boasting a solid record of three-from-nine, and two-from-three in Class 4, he must be respected.

Returns to Class 4, where he is two-from-two, and is capable of showing early speed and giving a bold sight based on past wins, contrary to his recent racing pattern.

Lim’s Kosciuszko

Thriving three-year-old who appears headed much higher in the handicap and is unbeaten from two starts to date. He holds form with a strong trial win, which suggests he’ll be scoring a hat-trick of wins.

First Choice

Consistently shows good gate speed and races second-up off a fair first-up run where he faded late, beaten two lengths. Boasts a good second-up record and could find a place.

Beer Garden

Has been an improver since joining trainer Jerome Tan’s stable and you can forget his last start effort as he was slow to begin and raced mostly at the rear. Prior form is good enough for this race.

What You Like

Enduring a solid 2021 racing season, with two wins and as many placings from five outings, and looked unlucky when held up late in the piece over this distance 21 days ago.

A nine-start maiden in Singapore but his last run put the writing on the wall, when he stormed home late into second place. Edging closer to that elusive win.

Diamond Beauty

Faces an uphill task based on current form where he has been beaten by many lengths. Needs something easier than this.

Hotshots Slam

Won well two starts ago but was unable to repeat the dose last time out 21 days ago. However, he only faded late and is capable of being in the finish.

Wild Bee

Slow into stride last time but returned a solid final 400m sectional and he might be able to improve switching back to the turf track this week.

Moongate Five

Has not won for a long time and he would need a big improvement to feature this week. Not here.

Sun Rectitude

Battling to find form and others are preferred based on his current poor record.

Super Speed

Boasts a poor Class 4 record of 15 starts for naught. Needs something easier.

Rises to Class 4 after a maiden win 21 days ago and this appears much harder. Place chances are preferred.
