The Stewards have been provided with written advice from New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing that ARROGANT (D025), which raced under the same name prior to being imported into Hong Kong, wore blinkers in a number of its race starts conducted in that jurisdiction.

Mr C Fownes, trainer of ARROGANT, has requested to race the horse in blinkers without it being subjected to a blinkers test.  Mr Fownes’ request has been approved.
