28/08/2019 10:38

Commencing with the Sha Tin racemeeting to be conducted this coming Sunday, 1 September 2019 horses may wear a Hood in the Parade Ring and on the way to the start but not during the race.

The yellow-coloured Parade Hoods will be fitted over the horse’s bridle and other approved headgear prior to it being presented in the Parade Ring, with the horse carrying the gear until its arrival at the start at which time the Parade Hood will be removed.

The Parade Hood shall continue to be worn in the horse’s future race starts until permission to remove that gear has been obtained from the Stewards.

The list of horses wearing a Parade Hood for each racemeeting will be notified in the same manner as those horses which have been trained in Conghua since their last start.
