G3 – 1200m – Turf

Alabama Whitman Finished well from off the pace to finish 2nd of 13 in a fast-ground novices’ event over this distance at Windsor last month. Encouraging, but this is a big rise in class.
Aroha The best of her three starts – all over 1000m on fast ground – came at Salisbury when she led for most of the way before being caught by a newcomer. An unlikely winner.
Back To Brussels Won on her debut over 1000m at Navan. She then took on colts over this distance in Listed company at The Curragh but ran out of gas in the closing stages. Capable of better.
Celtic Beauty Improved from her fair first run when – despite missing the break – she finished a close 3rd in a G3 over this distance at Naas last month. A good run is expected.
Chili Petin Taken on for the lead but still too strong for her in a 900m dash on the Keeneland dirt in April. Bred to be at least as good on grass and over this longer trip.
Daahyeh Smoothly won a novices’ event on her career debut over this distance at Newmarket in May, and her nearest victim has enhanced the form with a good G2 win since.
Diligent Deb Made a winning debut at Windsor earlier this month, grabbing the lead in the last stride. That was a good effort on soft ground, which her pedigree would suggest was not ideal.
Exceptional A sister to a very smart horse over this distance, and though missing the break and looking green, she found a terrific gear change to win a soft-ground 1000m Carlisle maiden last month.
Exclusively From a stable with a great two-year-old record. Won a novices’ event first time and then was only just caught by a filly who has won a Listed race since. Up to 1200m now.
Fleeting Princess Heavily backed to win a Yarmouth maiden on her debut in April, which she did. However she then faded right out in stronger company at York.
Galadriel Considering she was very inexperienced for much of her debut, her powerful finish into 4th in that 1000m Listed company at York last month was very promising.
Get The Look Soundly beaten on her only start and surely has no chance here.
Graceful Magic The outsider of the seven for her debut at Sandown last month, but with others stopping in front she surged through to win. This rise to 1200m is expected to suit.
Jm Jackson The stable won this last year. Improved from her debut when a staying on 2nd in a Listed event at Sandown. She ran as though this rise to 1200m would be positive.
Kemble Took a big step forward on her second start when she won by 5L at Windsor, and her nearest victim then has won by 8L since.
Last Surprise Although inexperienced, she quickened up nicely once her jockey got serious and outspeeded the more experienced hot favourite on that Lingfield debut at this trip.
Lil Grey Ran well first time and then progressed to gain a decisive win at The Curragh (1200m) 14 days ago, travelling smoothly from the start and quickening well at the end.
Lorelei Rock Very professional and showing gate speed when a surprise winner first time out. Couldn’t cope with Sunday Sovereign at Tipperary this month.
Moon Of Love Ran very encouragingly on her only start, 3rd to two good and more experienced rivals over 1000m at Beverley, especially promising as she was hampered twice.
Nayibeth Made an explosive winning debut over 900m on the Keeneland dirt in April. ‘She won with speed to spare,’ was how her trainer put it. She has the breeding to also to excel over this 1200m.
Paper Star To her credit she has been placed in her first four starts but they have all been at a much lower level than this so her winning chance looks bleak.
Precious Moments Made a really encouraging debut when third in what looked like a hot 1200m maiden at The Curragh last month. The second has boosted the form by winning since.
Separate Has run just a fair race in a Listed event at York in May but dropped in class on fast ground at Lingfield, she proved to strong for her four rivals. This is much tougher.
Seraphinite Showed nothing on her debut but later in May sprang a shock win in a 1200m novices’ event on the Kempton all-weather. Back on grass and up in grade.
Silent Wave Made her debut in a fast-ground maiden over this distance at Goodwood last month. An athletic-looking filly, she was fast from the gate and beat the four other newcomers easily.
So Wonderful A narrowly beaten favourite on her debut, but put in a disappointing finishing effort when favourite again, for a 1200m Naas G3. Maybe the fast ground didn’t help.
