On Sunday 23 June, the 60th running of the Takarazuka Kinen (G1 2200m for 3yo+) will be simulcast live from Hanshin Racecourse during the Sha Tin races.

The Takarazuka Kinen is the grand prize of the Japanese spring season for middle distance horses. It is one of the two races on their calendar where the majority of runners are selected by voting from racing fans. As part of the Breeder’s Cup Challenge, winners of the Takarazuka Kinen will gain automatic entry to the Breeders’ Cup Turf in November.

Final declarations with barrier draws for the Takarazuka Kinen will be available on the morning of Friday 21 June.
