1400m – Turf
Nova Strike | Talented galloper who has been down on form but will appreciate a massive drop in class. The big weight will prove his biggest stumbling block but he appears well placed to run a big race.
Curvature | Has plenty of ability but returned a roarer last start when 14th behind Quarter Back. An on pace runner who you must take on trust based on last start.
Claudia’s Beauty | Handy staying mare who drops back in distance and will need a fast early speed to play a part in the finish.
Dinghu Mountain | Caught the eye last start rocketing home for 4th place to Quarter Back when coming from near last at the 800m mark. Strikes an even race and can run well.
Elite Power | Has won two of his past five starts and looks ideally placed to be hard to beat. Nice effort last start when 3rd to Quarter Back and appears a big winning chance here.
Lim’s Magic | Overlook last start in the SIN G2 Chairman’s Trophy (1600m) when outclassed behind Debt Collector. Drops in grade and on his best form he would give this a mighty shake.
Robin Hood | Withdrawn
Al Green | Inconsistent galloper who has early speed and should be on pace but hard to see him winning on current form.
Twickenham | Has been mixing it with better horses recently and is a four-time winner over 1400m. Can be a big improver.
Richebourg | Promising galloper who is rising through the ranks but jumps from Class 4 to Class 2 and despite dropping to 110lb, he is going to face a big task at this level but he will be fancied to be in the finish.
Chocolats | Won a Class 4 race last start and rises to Class 2, meeting much better opposition. His lightweight will help and he can be placed at value.
