RACE 3 – BURST AWAY

BURST AWAY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BURST AWAY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D E Ferraris this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg with a swollen cannon. Before being allowed to race again, BURST AWAY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 10 – PAKISTAN FRIEND

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that PAKISTAN FRIEND was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, PAKISTAN FRIEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
