RACE 5 – MICKEY RICH

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that MICKEY RICH was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, MICKEY RICH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – SUPERICH

SUPERICH, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SUPERICH was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg and to have a restricted action in both front legs. Before being allowed to race again, SUPERICH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – GOLD WIN

GOLD WIN, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GOLD WIN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, GOLD WIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
