Tye Angland was injured this afternoon as a consequence of being dislodged from Go Beauty Go shortly after the start of race nine.

Angland was conscious and transported by ambulance to Prince of Wales Hospital where he is continuing to undergo testing. The Club’s Chief Racing Medical Officer is in attendance at the hospital.

Angland’s family in Australia is being kept informed.

A further update on Angland’s condition will be released when that is appropriate.
