The G2 Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy (1600m) will be held this Sunday (21 October) at Sha Tin Racecourse. The day is also known as the Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Race Day and the Club is staging a range of themed events to mark the occasion. Ladies and gentlemen are invited to dress up in bow ties and bow-themed accessories to grace the event with elegance and glamour.

The Oriental Watch Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Race Day to be staged at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday
On the day, a spectacular watch and fashion show displaying luxury timepieces will be held in the Parade Ring after Race 3. The show will feature celebrities Andrew Yuen, Kathy Tong, Jeffery Lai and Jessica Jann alongside models. They will take the lead on the runway, showing off evening gowns and suits from famous designer Pius Cheung and renowned brand THE ARMOURY.
A “Stylish Bow Tie Contest” will be held in the Members’ Enclosure. Beautifully dressed members and their guests will have a chance to win an exquisite wrist watch.
A variety of dishes featuring bow-shaped food items will be available at Mezza One, the gourmet food plaza at Sha Tin Racecourse.

Top-class sporting action is assured with the running of two Group 2 races – the Premier Bowl (1200m) and the Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy (1600m) as Race 7 and Race 8 respectively. A 10-race programme has been scheduled on 21 October with the first starting at 1pm. Sha Tin Racecourse will open at 11am.
