G3 – 1703m – Turf

Diaphora This German-trained filly battled hard in the closing stages to win a 1600m Listed race on good ground at Hanover last month. It is hard to equate the level of that form with that of the UK-trained contenders here, but she does look an improved filly.
Lincoln Rocks Versatile groundwise and also has no stamina worries at this trip. In very good shape lately, and her front-running speed has seen her go close to victory on both her starts this season, latterly in a G3 at Lingfield. Tough and consistent, she is a straightforward ride.
Shenanigans Has developed into a very useful filly in the past year. Most recently she finished well when a close second in a Listed event over 1600m on slow ground at Goodwood. Her conqueror that day has since easily won a G2 in Germany, and she looks to have good claims here.
Soul Silver Not very big but she tries hard, and her figures suggest a consistent profile though she may struggle to win at this level. Usually held up as she was in a 1600m Listed event at Goodwood last time, making headway and running a respectable fifth without ever looking like winning.
Stage Name An inexpensive purchase but she looks a bargain, having appeared to run above expectations on both career starts. Latterly she returned from a 246-day break to easily glide clear of 12 rivals in a novices’ event on the Wolverhampton all-weather but this is much tougher.
Wilamina Won first time last season but didn’t really progress from that though she did compete at a high level. Also ran really well on her 2018 return, only outpaced in the last 200m by a much higher-rated filly in a G2 over 1800m at Newmarket last month. That was on fast ground but she’s versatile surfacewise.
Anna Nerium A tough and smart filly at two, and improved further when surging late to easily win a 1400m Listed handicap at Newmarket in April. She didn’t improve on that but still ran OK when 7th of 15 in a G1 over 1600m at Newmarket last month. The fast ground may not have helped there.
Dance Diva Three times a winner at two, all over 1200m. Most recently she led in a fast-ground Listed event at York, but got squashed 7L by an improving filly. She moves up in trip again but still needs to prove her stamina though her trainer doesn’t make too many mistakes on that score.
